Meier-Brakenberg has been farming pigs for generations. We started developing our own constructions because the equipment which had been available on the market at that time did not meet our requirements. As a result of these considerations we can now present first-class high-pressure cleaners - true specialists for agriculture and subcontractors - and other highly professional equipment for industry and municipal technology.

To consequently optimize your livestock breeding it is indispensable to carry out check weighing which leads to important findings to increase revenues. Animal weighing machines of Meier-Brakenberg provide you with exact data on weight increases and allow effective control of animals and performance. You will always be informed about the optimum sales weight and therefore the ideal date of sale. We have developed mobile and stationary multi-purpose scales for precise weighing of moving animals. Our product range includes mobile scales for individual animals, stationary low-floor scales and special constructions such as the large size bull weighing machine at Hamburg harbour, a special construction with selection gate which is used at Hamburg harbour to weigh bulls for export.

Taking advantage of the special features of the Meier-Brakenberg professional high-pressure cleaners and in particular from their high watering and washing power, our soaking unit has proved to be a key element in stable cleaning. The system is a true all-rounder: soaking, cooling and disinfection. To increase efficiency in stable hygiene and to make work for you or your cleaning service provider as fast and safe as possible we recommend the installation of tailor-made solutions.

Porky's Pick Up is Meier-Brakenberg’s innovative development carcass wagon for the removal of carcasses. Using Porky's Pick Up significantly facilitates handling of heavy carcasses and makes work far easier for you and your staff. No more physical strain. Just take Porky ́s Pick Up boar carcass trolley directly to the animal inside the pen. Three electrical pick-up rollers pull the carcass onto the vehicle at the touch of a button. Then just step on the footboard and leave the pen swiftly.

When animals feel good, earnings grow. What can we do to offer long-lasting activities to animals kept indoors? The solution is our Porky's Fun Box. It is an attractive toy and provides well dosed roughage feed at the same time. Our nibbling pipe keeps animals busy with organic materials in a sustainable and inexpensive way. It replaces plastic toys by wooden slats. Our scrubbing wall has been specially developed for animal welfare and is already in use at many farms where measures in accordance with the Initiative Tierwohl are implemented.

Meier-Brakenberg – Ideas based on experience

Meier-Brakenberg has been keeping pigs for generations and we know exactly how much time it takes to cope with everyday work efficiently and thoroughly with equipment which does not suffice operational needs at a 100 %.

At that time available solutions for agriculture or industry - for example in the area of cleaning, weighing or stable cooling - did not live up to our expectation in terms of performance, robustness or long service life. This is why we having been developing our own products and systems since 1997 - professional devices for agriculture, subcontractors and the food industry.

We use and test new and also proven technologies under real life conditions in our pig farm what raises our awareness when it comes to decisive little things in product development and product improvement. This is why we find perfect solutions for allegedly minor issues which are yet very important for the everyday work.
